Chef Julio, the esteemed culinary instructor of the Intensive Professional Culinary (IPC) program at Mission Language and Vocational School, originally hails from Mexico. His journey at MLVS began as a student when he enrolled in the program, and through hard work and dedication, he successfully graduated in 2019.

In 2020, Chef Julio's unwavering talent and passion for culinary arts led him back to MLVS, but his role quickly evolved when the unforeseen challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic emerged. Stepping up to the occasion, he took charge of running the kitchen when MLVS shifted its focus to supporting the community. During this critical time, MLVS under Chef Julio's leadership produced an impressive 2000 meals weekly to help feed the elderly in need.

Today, Chef Julio stands as a pillar in the culinary department at MLVS. Alongside teaching the IPC program, he also oversees catering orders, utilizing his invaluable expertise to inspire and educate aspiring chefs. Chef Julio's remarkable journey from student to instructor exemplifies his dedication to the culinary arts and his commitment to serving the community through his culinary talents.
